Two workouts two days in a row. I actually feel pretty good. I’m glad I finally have time to do this again. This summer was absolutely crazy.
I’ve kind of been out of the loop for several months now. Life as usual (my professional life anyway) get’s way too hectic sometimes and I don’t really have time to focus on the stuff I like to do. I am too wrapped up in the things that I have to do so when I get free time I usually spend it recuperating. Hopefully all of this craziness will be coming to an end and I can get to do some cool stuff for me again! Only time will tell…
I have been so busy lately that I haven’t had any serious time for training. I’ve been putting the job first way too much so it was time for a change. Tonight I ran my first 10K in over 3 months. And before that my last 10K was three months prior to that one. The run went much better than expected. 45:29 Maybe it was the weather (I ran right after a big thunderstorm) or maybe it was the chance to finally blow off some steam. I’m 100% positive that I am going to feel this one in the morning. I’m also 95% sure that I will still feel it Friday morning!
The giving 110% cliche is a bunch of BS. If 110% is your maximum effort I’ve got news for you, your 110% is actually your 100% and your been copping out by giving 90% (or less) all this time.
